The Digital Media Maker Challenge is an opportunity to improve the public relations, digital media, blogging and social media industries. Currently there are thousands of stand-alone products professionals have to access in order to complete a large amount of tasks. Workflow can be time consuming and cumbersome.

Industry staples, like press releases and pitches, while still valuable, need a facelift and overhaul. Small businesses and startups need help on “how to” pitch the media, public relations professionals could be more efficient if influencer identification, outreach and amplification didn’t have to be manually curated.

It’s a broad industry with wide-reaching implications.

We’ve done our best to whittle down general industry categories in the hopes of sparking ideas from amazing makers, like you.

Let’s improve the industry and make tools that both seasoned professionals, new startup founders and influencers can utilize to do better.

All products created during the Digital Media Maker Challenge 2019 are fully owned by the creator of said product(s). Monetization is welcome and winners will be determined by a combination of popular vote and industry judges.
